Can't Drive A Sled

Wherein the women of the JoyFamily prove that not a one of us can drive a sled...

This was from our sledding trip during our lovely visit from Grandma Joy and GrandpaJ, who both sledded in a straighter line than the younger generations managed.

Three cheers for our new Flip video cam, and for JoyDad the intrepid videographer!

I think it takes real skill to sled down a hill the way Rose did!!! Anybody can just go down in a plain old straight line!! LOL!! Looks like a fun day!

"Straight" is like "normal" - perhaps over-rated - eh?

Insert political commmentary here...

Could not help but notice that in spite of attempts to appear to be leaning to the right, Joy Mama ended up way over on the left.

AuntieS - skill or luck, I think Rose had the most exciting sled run of all!

TherExtras - good point.

Big Daddy - I'm really quite a capable driver when it comes to automobiles. Now if the sled just had a steering wheel, I'd be in much better shape.

Uncle Marathon - politics has been tough sledding this year... but I'll proudly own my leftward orientation!

Half the fun of sledding is the fact that there is no guarantee where you are going to end up at the bottom of the hill! I love Rose's method, complete with shrieks of combined terror and excitement.
